Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CellarBook website and booking services. By using CellarBook, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. About CellarBook
CellarBook is an online platform that connects guests with wineries offering tastings, tours, and related experiences across Cyprus and the wider Mediterranean. We act as an intermediary: the experiences themselves are provided by independent wineries, not by CellarBook.
We are not party to the contract between you and a winery for an experience, except where expressly stated. The winery is responsible for delivering the experience you book.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, make a booking, or purchase wine-related experiences through CellarBook. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Consumption of alcohol may be subject to local laws and the policies of each winery.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Bookings and payments
When you book an experience, you enter into an agreement with the relevant winery. Prices, availability, and inclusions are set by the winery and shown at the time of booking.
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). Depending on the experience, you may pay the full amount or a deposit (for example, 40%) at the time of booking, with the balance payable on arrival.
We make reasonable efforts to display accurate information, but errors in pricing or availability may occur; if so, we may cancel the affected booking and issue a refund.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation terms are set per experience and shown at the time of booking. Many experiences offer free cancellation up to a stated time before the start (for example, 24 hours), with a full refund.
Cancellations made after the free-cancellation window, or no-shows, may not be refunded. Refunds are processed to your original payment method.
If a winery cancels an experience, you are entitled to a full refund of amounts paid through the platform.
6. Reviews
Only verified guests who have completed a booking may leave a review, and one review per booking. This keeps ratings honest and relevant.
You are responsible for your reviews. Reviews must be truthful and must not contain unlawful, offensive, or misleading content. We may moderate, edit, or remove reviews that breach these Terms, and we may remove duplicate or fraudulent submissions.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting the platform, scraping data, submitting false information, or using the service for any unlawful purpose.
You may not use CellarBook to infringe the rights of others or to post content you do not have the right to share.
8. Intellectual property
The CellarBook name, logo, website, and its content (excluding winery- and user-submitted content) are owned by CellarBook or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.
9. Third-party content
Winery listings, photos, and descriptions may be provided by the wineries. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of third-party content. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and are not endorsements.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or delivery of experiences provided by wineries.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CellarBook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cyprus, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
